ASC-SC Antimicrobial Stewardship TeleECHO: Accreditation Information

Objectives

Inpatient:

Apply the current standards of inpatient antimicrobial stewardship practice when solving complex patient or system challenges and improving antibiotic prescribing at inpatient institutions.

Outpatient:

Apply the current standards for outpatient antimicrobial stewardship practice when solving complex patient or system challenges and improving antibiotic prescribing in ambulatory care settings.

Pharmacy

Inpatient:

The University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This activity is accredited for a total of 1.0 live contact hours (0.1 CEUs) for pharmacists (ACPE UAN 0062-9999-20-104-L01-P). This is an application-based learning activity. Participants must have their attendance documented, attend the entire activity, participate in all active learning activities, and complete the online evaluation (providing their correct NABP e-profile ID and month/day of birth) within 30 days of the activity to ensure credit is transmitted to the NABP CPE Monitor. Any credit claimed greater than 60 days from the date of the activity will be automatically rejected by the NABP CPE Monitor.
